They recorded a demo and toured a lot, then they recorded 8 or 9 songs as an album two years later. Then they scrapped that recording and recorded the version that came out. (It's the same songs over and over). What they NEED to do is keep Jack from shattering his bones... and record that NEW album, haha!

That thing was so good that (after listening to it for a few months) I came really close to asking to put it out as an LP, but honestly... I had a lot of trepidation about doing a fully metal record, plus was so busy already: no room. I inadvertently showed up at the studio while they were recording it, to pick up or drop off something else, and I hung out listening to guitars and playback. Something about the guitar tones told me there was something extra going on there. It definitely deserved to be heard. But then one of the guys moved away... and that was that, yeah?

This is great, woo hoo.
Kind of GV related, did anyone ever hear CELL 63? Rob Coe from Fay Wray's band pre-Fay Wray. I picked up "Once Upon a Drunk..." on CD from some website for out of print stock in the Netherlands for about 40 Euros back in 2003... expensive as hell but couldn't find anything by them anywhere and really wanted it.
Anyway, it's pretty good - more like The Enablers than Fay Wray as Rob is singing. Anyone know if they ever did anything else? If anyone is interested I'd have no problem putting it up somewhere. It's 16 years old and it's not like you can buy it anywhere.

Yeah, I wish more came out of that band. They were HUGE down here. Every time they played it was as "sold out" as a skate park can be. Plus, Tony rules!
