Chris WOLLARD just dropped by to pick up his Buccaneers coffee mug, borrowing an amp from Tubers and then off to the studio. I cannot wait for the new SHIP THIEVES album to be finished. I expect it will be out this summer. YEAAAH! He is flying to Australia with Addison for an acoustic tour with Tim Barry... and more.

BRIDGE AND TUNNEL are talking about recording in May with J Robbins.

Brad of DEAR LANDLORD infamy stole my credit card to get himself and the boys across the ocean to mama Europe. Zack is now a full-timer in DL. Looks like the plan is to record an album sometime mid-to-late summer... and have it out for THE FEST 10. This is very loose in terms of dates, but we can all dream, right? I still kick their record frequently... and sometimes I even listen to it!

I'm listening to some demos by THE BOMB for a possible future project. More on that later. Their upcoming 11" is brilliant, of course... and the reference lacquers sound GRRREAT!

Also spinning today are the Refs for SMALL BROWN BIKE. Beware forthcoming nerd extravaganza! I don't think it will be TOO overblown, but I think you will be pleased. Elegant in execution, perhaps?

Supposedly (the Wrath of) Kahn left an art disc around here somewhere for HAWKS AND DOVES, but I have not found it as of yet. He is better at hiding these things than I thought! KAAAAAAHHHHHNNN!!

J. Robbins is easily one of my favorite producer/engineer dudes. The fact he did the new SBB and may be doing the new Bridge and Tunnel is beyond exciting!

there was discussion of that, but now that they're back on the hiatus train it wouldn't make as much sense...I still haven't heard that thing either, I was at the show, but selling merch all night so I didn't even get a chance to watch them because it was the craziest merch-splosion ever.
