I had a friend get the OK from one member of the band, Still trying to track down Steve Heritage..though I did get a good lead from a friend.

That seems so weird to me. I mean, I can understand not wanting to play in bands or go to shows anymore, and even not listening to much of the same stuff you used to love, but to just kind of disavow so much experience... maybe I'm reading too much into it.

met that guy B recently in Oakland, super nice guy.. didn't realize he was the drummer for Scholastic Deth too! they were like my favorite. currently he's drumming in a band called No Statik.

Also, B mentioned that he has been thinking about going back to those old Jud Jud recordings and doing beat box drums over it all. that would be SO AWESOME.
